MCC Albany
A record breaking Ten Gold Medals and a Category Winner - we had another very successful year at Pride in Print in 2017.
This year the Pride in Print Awards were held at the Air Force Museum of New Zealand in Christchurch - and what a great night it was!
Paul and Alex ventured down to Christchurch to celebrate the evening. We went on to win 11 gold medals and a Category Winner – 8 in the Label Category for the following entries:
Wild Rock Pinot Gris – This label features a combination of debossing and a gloss screen varnish
Karven Gin – a stand out design printed on clear stock with gold foil details
Mrs Smith Pinot Noir – a combination of gloss highbuild and embossing on a simple yet effective design
Tantalus Chardonnay 2015 - a stand out design which has embossing, debossing and a screen varnish
Onuku Clover Honey – Digitally printed and then finished with our Texturecoat varnish and gloss highbuild
NZ Sunscreen – printed on metallic stock and featuring our recently released Lustre coat
Tantalus Merlot Cab Franc 2015 – black on black with a gloss highbuild
Fernridge Haha Brut Cuvee - a stand out design printed with two foils on our exclusive Schist stock.
This label was a Category Winner for us too this year!
We also won a couple of gold medals in the Industry Development and Creativity category. These labels are featured in our Box of Fish and Book of Labels.
Who doesn't love a bit of floating foil (exclusive to Rapid Labels) and soft feel varnish!
This label won gold in the Labels category as well as in the Industry Development and Creativity category.
And The Kea - featured in our Book of Labels – he sports dual highbuild - a gloss highbuild and matt skybuild.
