Label Industry Awards

Pride in Print is the New Zealand annual print industry awards.

Entries can be submitted by anyone associated with the production or purchase of print. Awards for the previous calendar years' print jobs are made in the following June. The awards dinner is attended by around 800 people each year and the venue is rotated around the main New Zealand centres.

Entrants can win either a gold or a highly commended award in each category, plus a category winner is awarded. There are eight categories - Promotional Print, Display Print, Publications, Business Print, Labels, Specialty Products, Packaging and Industry Development. From the eight Category Winners a Supreme Award is then announced - ie best print in show.

MCC Albanys wins from Pride in Print include 7 Category Winners, 139 Gold, 41 Highly Commended and Apprentice of the Year.

Other international competitions relevant for labels are the ANZFTA Awards (Australia, New Zealand Flexographic Technical Association) and the World Label Awards.
